RepresentATIVE WILL WADE

MEET WILL

Will is a native of Dawsonville and graduated from Dawson County High School. After enrolling at the University of North Georgia, Will worked full-time as a teller while pursuing a double major in finance and accounting. After graduating, Will began his career as a community banker and takes pride in his ability to take a chance on people looking to start or grow a business and is proud of the role he played in helping people through tough times during the Great Recession.

You have my word I will fight everyday under the Gold Dome for better lives for our families, our small business community, and our conservative values."

After seeing shortfalls 16 years ago in the same system he came up through, Will was motivated to serve his community on the Dawson County Board of Education, where he served as Chairman. During his 15 years on the board, Will led Dawson County to become one of the first system-wide charter school systems in Georgia, expanding school choice because he knows parents and students know better than the government what is best for them.

From small businesses to students, Will knows what it takes to help people succeed, and he is proud to serve the people of Georgia’s 9th State House District. And he has hit the ground running during his first term.

In his short time as our voice in Atlanta, Will has led the fight to protect our kids from the radical left by banning sex changes for minors, removing CRT from our schools, and empowering parents to have a voice in their kids' education.

Will has worked to keep our families safe from crime by giving pay raises to law enforcement, cracking down on gangs, and working to end the scourge of human trafficking in our state.

He's also made sure Georgians kept more of their money by cutting the income tax, returning excess tax dollars directly back to you, and protecting our status as the best place to operate a small business.

Will lives in Dawsonville with his wife, Jennifer, who is an educator for Lumpkin County Schools. They have two children.
